The Tea Room is open Wednesday to Sunday, Bank Holiday Mondays, Good Friday and Easter Sunday, 10am to 4.30pm.
Bookings available at other times.
The Tea Room is in the museum garden with views over the fields where horses still graze.
You do not need to pay to enter the garden and there is plenty of free parking.
The Essex Way passes nearby.
Walkers and cyclists welcome.
Dogs welcome on leads.
