Here at The Munnings Art Museum, we really value our Volunteers. We have a wonderful team of committed Volunteers who are involved in a range of front of house roles at Castle House as well as behind the scenes.
Why volunteer with us?
Whether you are looking for a new interest in a beautiful setting, to gain a new skill or new experience to add your CV, volunteering with us could valuable to you. Our volunteer roles cater for everyone and no prior experience of working in museums or galleries is needed to volunteer with us. We provide training and support and you’ll begin by shadowing another member of the team.
What do The Munnings Art Musuem Volunteers do?
*Ahead of re-opening for our new 2024 season in April, we are currently recruiting for Hall, Room Stewards and Till Stewards to join our stewarding team.*
From welcoming visitors to Castle House, taking shop sales andassisting visitors by answering questions, our stewarding team deliver to our visitors an inspiring and informative visit to The Munnings Art Museum. There are also additional opportunities to support at events, guided tours and private views or hires. Our stewards are there to be a friendly face bringing Sir Alfred’s paintings and former home to life, welcoming visitors and answering their questions.
