Product Description

“Her dog went, too”

Black Knight (1944-1955), the famous Peke owned by Lady Munnings was a real dog about town. This is his published diary. Attending many important functions in a specially made bag which Violet Munnings ccarried on her arm, Black Knight attended Lord Mayor’s Banquets, parties at Buckingham Palace and even the then Princess Elizabeth’s wedding in 1947. His greatest glory came on the racecourse where he was a remarkably reliable tipster! Fully illustrated by Sir Alfred Munnings.
