The Tea Room is open by appointment only throughout the winter. It will reopen Wednesday to Sunday from 1st April 2026.
The Tea Room is in the museum garden with views over the fields where horses still graze.
You do not need to pay to enter the garden and there is plenty of free parking.
The Essex Way passes nearby.
Walkers and cyclists welcome.
Dogs welcome on leads.
