The museum galleries are now closed to the public for the winter and will re-open on Wednesday 1st April 2026.
The office remains open 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, during the winter time. The archives and curatorial department are also taking enquiries during the winter. Please contact us by email or phone with your enquiry.
In 2026 the museum will be open Wednesday to Sunday and Bank Holidays, 1.30pm – 4.30pm
The Tea Room will be open Wednesday to Sunday and Bank Holidays, 10am – 4.30pm
Groups will be welcome at other times by appointment. We are taking group bookings now for 2026 and 2027. Please use the enquiry form or call the office with your booking enquiry.
