Yorkshire-born Jean Goodman, journalist and author, was educated at Malvern Girls’ College and King’s College, London University. For 25 years she was a BBC reporter and commentator on radio and television and wrote for magazines and newspapers. For many years she lived in Norfolk where, in 1988, she wrote her acclaimed biography of Alfred Munnings. This was re-issued, with much new material and attention on Munnings first marriage, in 2000.
